Multiple third-party retailers at Disney Springs stopped accepting Disney Gift Cards, redemption cards, and room charges, effective immediately as of October 16, 2026. The policy change affected select merchants operating in the shopping district, limiting where guests could use those payment methods. Disney did not immediately clarify which specific stores implemented the restrictions or provide official reasoning for the sudden shift in payment acceptance.
