Construction began in early April on Monstropolis, a new Monsters, Inc.-themed land at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Work commenced with scaffolding and scrim covering the former Muppets Courtyard and Animation Courtyard areas, followed by installation of roller coaster track and removal of existing structures including a water tower. By mid-April, vertical construction started on the Monsters, Inc. Door Vault Coaster, with façade work and retheming progressing across the expansion site.
